About

Robin Kould, a thirteen-year-old boy from the ghettos who discovers he can talk to dogs, and Mary Yen, a twelve-year-old girl who is studying to be a lawyer, team up to become champions of the underdog—literally. These two become unlikely comrades as they navigate the turbulent waters of their middle school years. Sometimes insightful, sometimes humorous, but always earnest, they stumble their way through to accomplish their good deeds and rescue dogs. It is their hope that their series will inspire others to help rescue dogs in need.
Profits from the sales of the books are donated to dog rescue groups.

ROBIN KOULD
A prequel to BOMBO. If you've already read BOMBO and want to know how Robin came to be living with his Uncle Damian, sign up for this prequel.
Chapter 1 of BOMBO
Bombo is a military dog whose trainer and partner, Greg Peterson, has been falsely accused and jailed for a liquor store robbery. Robin and Mary must prove Greg’s innocence and free him from jail in time to claim Bombo from the local pound before he is euthanized.
Chapter 1 of POPPY
Poppy is behind bars at the local pound. Next stop, euthanasia. The needle. Death. Robin Kould and Mary Yen race against time to find Poppy an owner before it’s too late.
Chapter 1 of BRUISER
A comedic depiction of complicated rescues and mismatched placements which demonstrates the importance of resilience, along with the power of friendship and second chances.
Chapter 9 of LOKI
Robin and Mary call on their eighth-grade classmates for help in finding homes for more than a hundred dogs rescued from a puppy mill.
The themes of compassion, determination and cooperation are interwoven in another humorous Robin Kould and Mary Yen Rescue.
